Fadaat Media, a Qatari company that specializes in developing media projects in the Arab World and globally, and iHorizons Group, a leader provider of information technologies and HR and business consulting, have struck a strategic partnership agreement, by which Fadaat Media acquires a 51% share in iHorizons Group.

Through this partnership, the two parties will collaborate on developing advanced information solutions in the areas of new media, social networks, modern technology applications and organizational development consultancy services. 

This alliance aims to create a joint investment in research and development, expand the group’s activities and develop its business locally and regionally. 

The partnership emerged from the parties’ vision for the significance of joining efforts to explore the substantial opportunities made available by the age of information services and social media, and the accelerated economic growth that Qatar and the region are witnessing. It is also driven by the need to actively participate in initiatives for ambitious projects that are aligned with this growth, and that establish ventures that have long-term objectives in Qatar and the Arab Region. 

In his statement about this important deal, Mr. Moayed Dib, Fadaat Media CEO, indicated that “there is a growing need for strong national establishments that provide advanced services in those modern areas. We hope that through this unique partnership we can provide large organization in Qatar and the region with distinguished and innovative solutions and services in the fields of information technologies and digital publishing.” Mr. Dib emphasized that “accelerating changes in digital media, electronic business and social networks require that we speed up the development cycle of our innovative products to cater for increasing needs locally and regionally.” 

Mr. Jassim Al Mansoori, iHorizons Group Chairman, clarified that the Group “was inspired by Qatar’s national vision for the importance of participating in developing the knowledge-based economy in the country.” He indicated that “iHorizons has focused its efforts in the past years in translating this vision by developing business solutions that target the needs of various organizations in Qatar.” He explained that the group has succeeded in implementing and managing those solutions with several large corporations and government agencies in Qatar, including the Ministry of Business and Trade, Ooredoo, Al Jazeera Network, and Vodafone Qatar.
